“To me, sovereignty is the capacity to stay open, to be able to feel all the subtleties that are going on for people, and yet to remain separate and distinct from having to change it. To know yourself at once both connected and separate, and to choose which angle to take in communication.”
… reminded me of something Sadhguru says. That we are “response -able” when we observe or experience a situation, we feel something. We have a response. And we are able to respond if we choose to, but we may decide not to respond as well. The key is that we are able and we feel.
Hey Amitashuri!! I love it so much when someone comments. Thankyou xxx Soglad to hear you enjoyed the ride of that read. And yes I hear that you love grief and find disappointment a handy way in. That you’re not a fan of fear and that anger is harder for you. It’s such a journey is it not? I love this journey of harnessing more healthy and positive relationships with my emotions as a route to power. Have you joined my FB group The Pleasure Portal? I am running free online circles weekly through May to support through the COvid crisis and they are turning into quite amazing spaces. Do come join us if you feel like it x
Julia!!
That was a blooming awesome read!!! You took me along with you on that emotional (not quite rollercoaster, but definitely a), ride ????????
We don’t share quite the same favourites – I love grief (sometimes), and disappointment is my beautiful way in to it and, much as I don’t love fear, I do feel wonderfully empowered when I overcome it. I felt excitement to read what you said about each of them, and especially the one I’m (still!) coming to know and love ????????♀️???? Anger (Love in action, you say? ????)
“ rage must work for everyone in the room or it works for no-one at all.“
❤️Thank you❤️
